Josh Hutcherson will be playing the character Peeta in the upcoming movie adaptation of “The Hunger Games” novel while Liam Hemsworth will be playing the character Gale. These two choices were just announced by Lionsgate.
It was also announced that Jennifer Lawrence will be playing the role of Katniss.
The movie is set to be directed by Gary Ross and will arrive in theaters March 23, 2012. What do you think of the new casting details?
P.S. We think it’s funny that Josh has been romantically linked to former Disney star Vanessa Hudgens while Liam is linked to Disney’s Miley Cyrus. Maybe both ladies will spend time with their men and with each other on the set of the movie?
