Tyler Black Says Signing With WWE Was A No-Brainer

The Sun out of the United Kingdom has a new article online featuring quotes from ROH Champion and new WWE signee Tyler Black. Below are the highlights:

Signing with WWE:

"To be honest, and no disrespect meant, but it wasn't a hard decision to make. You have to want to test yourself against the best and WWE is the pinnacle of our industry.

"They were actually the last to make me an offer. I was renegotiating with ROH and TNA had made an offer, but when WWE came in it was no contest.

"I understand that I may have to sacrifice a little artistic integrity - and I don't know if I'll have to change my name - but I'm so excited about the challenge that lies ahead."

Future plans, WWE NXT:

"If I knew exactly what I was doing I'd probably try to keep it from you, but the truth is I don't know.

"All I know is I will report to Tampa (WWE developmental territory FCW) and go from there.

"I wouldn't be averse to starting on WWE NXT. I think it's a really great concept. It's a chance to get your character to stand out.

"I think Colt Cabana was unlucky that WWE NXT wasn't around when he was in WWE, he would have been perfect for it."
