Vanessa Hudgens has signed on for a role in the film “The Frozen Ground.” The movie is due to release to theaters on December 1, 2012 and will star the following actors:
- John Cusack
- Nicolas Cage
- Ambyr Childers

The movie is an adaptation of the true story of Alaska’s notorious serial killer Robert Hansen (played by John Cusack). The movie will be about Robert kidnapping girls and bringing them to Alaska to kill them – yikes!
Vanessa will be one of the victims who escapes and Nicolas will play the Alaskan State Trooper who tries to help Vanessa.
