Results of WWE Over The Limit 2010 | John Cena def. Batista


A video package airs highlighting the  John Cena-Batista history. Cena gets a pretty good pop coming out. Long, drawn out introductions are finally complete and here we go. Wait, spoke too soon. Batista grabs a mic and says he knows Cena knows he made him quit last week. He said he'll give Cena one final chance to quit now publicly before he puts him in a world of pain. The ref asks Cena. Cena takes the mic and says he doesn't think so. He hits Batista with the mic and our match is started. Dueling Cena chants already erupting from the fans. Batista turning the tables, going to work on Cena's mid-section as he throws him into the ring post. Ref asks if Cena wants to quit, he says no. Cena hits two shoulder blocks on Batista, followed by a back suplex. He hits the Five Knuckle Shuffle. Cena picks Batista up for the Attitude Adjustment but Batista reverses his way out of it. He pulls the ref in front of him, kicks Cena, and then spears him. Batista locks in his new submission hold on Cena. Cena says no when prompted about he if he quits. Cena explodes out of the hold after a while. Cena locks in the STF but Batista won't quit. He grabs the ropes to break the hold, but that doesn't work in this match. Batista passes out as the ref asks him if he quits. Cena grabs some water and splashes it on Batista to wake him up. Batista says no when asked if he quits. Batista hits a spinebuster and a Batista Bomb on Cena. Cena hesitates before saying he doesn't quit. Batista goes to the floor and takes all the stuff off the announce tables. Batista hits a running powerslam on Cena from one table onto another, destroying the table in the process. Crowd popped big for that. Cena is bleeding from the head now. The trainer checks on him. The ref asks Cena if he wants to quit, he says no. Batista throws Cena into the crowd.
